The third day of the study visit to the University of the Balearic Islands (Ibiza), carried out within the framework of the international project LECTURE – Introducing Leading European Competences into Teacher Training Standard to Ensure Ukraine's Resilience (No. 101179602), was dedicated to the topic of teachers’ digital competence.
The day began with a session titled “Looking at Digital Competence from a Critical Perspective: Let’s Talk about Critical Digital Competence,” delivered by Dr. Victoria Marin. During the presentation, participants discussed contemporary approaches to developing critical digital competence and the teacher’s role in fostering students’ media literacy.
The next part of the program – Teachers’ Framework – focused on practical aspects of applying digital competence frameworks in teachers’ professional development.
In the afternoon, a hybrid-format partnership meeting took place, where participants discussed the project’s interim results and future steps toward integrating European approaches into teacher training.
