On February 25, the project team began a study visit to the University of Tartu (Estonia). The first day focused on exploring modern educational practices and the institutional structure of one of Northern Europe's oldest universities.

The programme started with an introduction to Tartu's "university mile" led by Oleksandra Golovko. In addition to visiting iconic locations like the "Kissing Students Fountain," participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the university’s structure, the distribution of its faculties, and its integration into the urban landscape.

During the official presentation, Lauri Randveer, Senior Specialist in International Cooperation, introduced the group to the University of Tartu's strategic priorities, international collaboration models, and modern approaches to higher education in Estonia.

A guided tour of the University of Tartu Library showcased a world-class intellectual hub that bridges extensive archives with innovative spaces for group and individual study, supporting the research community.

A major highlight was the training session at the University’s Counselling Center. The lecture "General skills – why they matter?" by Kristel Laan-Saarik focused on soft skills and general competencies. Participants discussed how to integrate these skills into the curriculum to prepare adaptable and competitive professionals.

The day concluded with a reflection session, "What I Am Taking With Me Today?". The exchange of ideas highlighted the value of European experience for the transformation of Ukrainian education.
