The second day of the study visit to the University of the Balearic Islands (Ibiza) within the framework of the international project LECTURE – Introducing Leading European Competences into Teacher Training Standard to Ensure Ukraine's Resilience (¹101179602) continued in an atmosphere of innovation, creativity, and collaboration.
In the first part of the day, participants attended a lecture by invited speaker Prof. Dr. Svenja Bedenlier from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nurnberg (Germany), dedicated to data literacy — the ability to work with educational data, analyze it, and use it to improve the educational process.
The next session focused on the AR-based gamification activity. Speaker Dr. Santos Urbina introduced participants to the potential of using gamification elements in education and demonstrated how to create a learning game using the ActivePresenter platform.
After the interactive sessions, participants visited the Museum of Ibiza, where they explored the island’s rich history and cultural heritage.
The day concluded with a creative workshop “Game co-design” conducted by Dr. Barbara de Benito and Dr. Gemma Tur, during which participants collaboratively developed and presented concepts for educational games aimed at fostering key competences and critical thinking skills among students.
The day brought plenty of new experiences, ideas, and inspiration for integrating innovative educational practices!
